This one turned up!!!!

The parent turned up today at 4.15, i think it went ok, she looked through my portfolio, asked where i would take the children and what i normally do in a day-i didnt say most my hours are spent on here lol, i told her what i charge and gave her discount for second child, she only wants fridays 8.30 -2 in school holidays, i gave her my bits to take and look over and she said she will let me know either way by the end of the week.
she said she had someone else to go see tomorrow,thats when her daughter said 'mum you said were only seeing this one', the daughter seemed really pleased with the wii, if they were staying longer id have put it on but they only stayed 10 minutes or so.
hopefully it went well and she gives me the answer i want.

one down one to go.

now to advertise full time holiday spaces!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you mind me asking what bits you gave her to look through? i am looking forward to minding, but dreading when i actually have to meet parents/sign contracts etc.
i need to get up the guts to ring these two parents who want me to take their kids after school - i told them i'd call when the certificate arrived.

My welcome pack is quite small, it's got my mission statement, bit about me, a handful of preci'd important policies, sheet showing regular activities and a page re. what you get for your hourly fee. I also give them a leaflet that I produced as well.

Try not to worry about calling these parents, if you make the call you're the one in control if you see what I mean! You can do it! Good luck!

OMG so did todays appointment!!!! 2 enquiries in a row both showed up- watch out i might be shocked soon- i think both went well todays is starting september before and after school and she sounded happy with what i offer, her little girl played on our wii after i showed how to do it,and she was happy enough, everyone was good which was a surprised as was very noisy before they arrived-thank god for tea time they quiet down then.
Anyway both are letting me know by the weekend ive got my fingers crossed i get them both.
