Feeling good this morning.
One of my mums has very eractic drop offs. I'm never too sure what time she will arrive.
We like to go to toddlers on a Tuesday. I need to leave by 9.30 (just going!) to make it worth while going.
Mum is often arriving too late for s to make it so this morning at 8.45 i send a nice chatty text asking her to be here by 9.30 as thats when we will be leaving and if she didnt think she would manage by then she could meet us at toddlers.
She arrived at 9.10am!! Thats actually almost on her contracted time!!
Feeling pleased! also her child reguarly has a tantrum when mum leaves. This can go on for up to an hour!.
I have been consistantly ignoring the tantum and busily and loudly having a lovely time with other mindees and tantrum was over and done with in 2 minutes today. Times have been slowly decreaseing as she realises that its not getting her any where.
So 2 little victories - thats all it takes to brighten my morning.
