I'm a bit confused about calculating space. I use my kitchen for children to do activities such as cooking, water play, messy play or sometime tables set up for drawing or toys. Sometimes I just have toys on the floor to play with. I use my hallway for magnetic play( on fridge) and children run up and down it and sit in the hall and play.
Can these be calculated in my space. Also when I get the garden sorted I plan to be out there 3/4 of the day whatever the weather as we will have undercover areas and a large play house. How does this come into calculating space?

There is some information in the free resources section , outdoor space will not be counted , unfortunate as mine spend a lot of time outside and if ofsted are wanting continuous outdoor play you'd have thought it may have been taken into account.
