I am after some advice.

I have a mindee whose behavior is challenging and we really need to nip it in the bud now.

My other mindees have things they need to work on too so I was thinking of a behavior chart for each of them them that results in a treat for good behavior.

I am really wanting the backing of the parents so I was going to let them all know this would be in place from Monday and I will attach them a chart to continue with at home. I was thinking of attaching a copy of my behavior policy.

How would you word it with them??

You should have already shared your behaviour procedures with parents - it's a statutory requirement - so you will be able to say that you have updated your procedures - maybe you have taken training or advice or something similar.

Ask parents for their feedback and comments individually - this will help them to get involved and feel that their views are being encouraged and welcomed.

They are more likely to read something if they know you are going to ask questions about it too!
