Has anybody got enquiries from the NCMA?

I recently moved house and gave notice to all of my mindees. Now I need to go on a bit of an advertising spree to find some new ones. Previously I have got most of my enquiries from childcare.co.uk and also from my website, so I will definitely be using those again. :D

I also have noticed that the NCMA has a childcare finder that comes up high on google results. I haven't joined the NCMA as it is so expensive but am wondering if the added bonus of having my name on their childcare finder would make it worthwhile. I just wondered if anybody has actually got any enquiries from there? I am cringing at the thought of another £69 out the window ...

I have been registered with them 2 months and not a single enquiry. I wouldn't bother but others may have had success.

I have had two enquiries in the last 3 months.

Childcare.co.uk is better i think.

I've had several enquiries, but not one of them has been suitable - wrong school, too far away etc. personally I wouldn't bother!

I have had a few!
Haven't been able to help as a couple were for bits and bobs eg two days a month and something in 10 mths time.
Others were after I had filled vacancy..... there seems a high demand here at the mo.
Bear in mind this is only one of the benefits of membership.

Is it ******? I just have the basic one so didn't pay any extra than the membership itself. I've had a few enquiries only one led to a contract that ended two weeks later!!! I would just stick to childcare.co.uk if that's the only reason you were going to become a member. X

I've only been registered a couple of months and have had a few enquiries, although most were ruled out by not being quite right for hours/ school pick ups etc. I've had 2 from NCMA/ i child; 4 from Netmums; 1 from Mumsnet local; 1 from FIS and a couple of responses to messages I sent on Childcare.co.uk

I haven't had any enquiries at all from them. Most of mine come from FIS or word of mouth, a few from Childcare.co.uk.

Ok, thanks guys. It looks like it is not worth joining just for the advertising. I think I'll wait until I have a bit more income coming in and then reconsider. :)

I havn't had any enquiries from ncma and have just left and changed insurance company too as they are far too expensive
