I got my paddys day stuff in Dublin 2 weeks ago. A shamrock shape as a template. Onto green paper. Glue onto shape and green glitter. Rainbows to look under for gold. A friends mother used to do green meals. Loved the idea of the hungry caterpillar day. I have the butterfly kit to do this year. Might even do my first story bag.

St Patrick's day has passed us by a bit this year because the children have wanted to continue with other activities from last week - and we'll start Easter next week!

Last year we had great fun with rainbow colours we spent ages doing it and everyone learned lots :D

For St Patricks Day I have done a shamrock shape and let the children collage it with green materials. I like the idea of green meals. Will be doing the hungry Caterpillar on Wednesday, love that story. Already have the book and a little toy hungry caterpillar that I got with it. Thanks for letting us know

LOVE the very hungry caterpillar! Hubby buys me bits from the portmerion collection at birthdays and Christmas. I might use it all on 20th!
