Activities for older children

Hi everyone had 5 older children this afternoon and due to the weather they couldnt go outside. I felt that they were bored inside didnt want to play any games and it ended with them being a little silly . Any body got any suggestions of activities to do with the older ones?? was thinking of a wii or x box but as a last resort .

Mine all love the Trading Cards that you can buy, especially the Angry Birds or Moshi Monsters ones and they will spend ages playing with them and sorting them!

Get them to put on a talent show for you and each other?

A trampoline in the garden has been a life-saver when it comes to amusing/tiring out the older children :)

What about stuff like hama beads or simple baking, a themed craft activity?
