Hello all. I am due in June bit plan to take my annual leave when baby is born then take maternity leave straight after.

Are there any rules to say you must take maternity straight after baby is born?

Compulsory maternity leave - You don’t have to take all of your Statutory Maternity Leave - but you must take 2 weeks of ‘compulsory’ maternity leave after your baby is born. If you work in a factory you must take 4 weeks.
