I often do mention another child is off sick and with what as it helps join the dots if Lo starts having symptoms.. But I don't know is there confidetiality issues in the uk? More relaxed here!

I write on my noticeboard...... A child in my care has been diagnosed with (whatever the infectious illness is) .
I do not mention name of child, that's confidential, but usually parents can work out who it is as we only have a few children in our care.
Parents are then allerted to watch out for signs and symptoms in their child.
