What can I do...................

I am starting my childminding matters course soon, intro session next week but I am fed up of the waiting game already. Is there things I could be getting on with? Things that perhaps I can do now that would slow down the process once I have completed my course.

I second that, it is such a loooong process!!!
I started out by risk assessing my house and sorting out things like cupboard locks, window film, safety gates, attaching wardrobes to wall, etc. That kept me busy for a good few weeks. :D

You can find out what first aid courses (you need 12 hour paediatric) are approved by your local authority and get yourself booked on, maybe? Check if there is any funding from the LA for it.
