I just phoned to ask them if it was possible to do this for a 15 minute period as a one off and their reply was check the EYFS! I said I had and got that it was 6 under 8s and not to exceed it but was there any way this was possible and the reply was ' so long as you have a risk assessment and parents are aware it would be fine' I'm fairly sure that's not right though and I'm not risking my insurance. Anyone else know if you can do this? It's not how EYFS reads to me.....

Its the one ratio they have always been strict over not to go over your 6 under 8.

Personally for 15 minutes it really isnt worth risking

Have arranged for my assistant to drop one off at my house - was an after schooler I said yes to as a one off before taking on a sibling baby - so now over by 1 until baby and sibling go home at 3.30pm - school out at 3.15pm! My fault though and assistant doesn't mind (I don't think!)

It is one of the main rules that they stick to - I think you have made a good decision not doing it  :D
