Although the response pages for various issues have now closed to further comments on the government consultaion website, they are still asking for our views which they will take into consideration. The official response page makes it looks really complicated and they also say they will publish those which have been read, so it's well worth giving it a try - I will be. Our local MP Tim Loughton yesterday told us that if enough people kick up a stink about particular issues then Liz Truss will be undermined and her ideas brought back to the drawing board.

The page you can go to is here:
Have your say on the Children and Families Bill - News from Parliament - UK Parliament (http://www.parliament.uk/business/news/2013/february/have-your-say-on-the-children-and-families-bill/)

Thanks

This looks like a really good opportunity yet to get our voices listened to because it'll side step Truss' department and go to people appointed to examine her plans. And what madaboutmusic's MP said below sounds encouraging - lets get writing! :cheerleader:

I have been asked to produce some documents to help people who want to respond to this consultation... so I have been busy!

There is a sample response document and a template on this thread -

Please ask if you need any help at all. :cheerleader::cheerleader:
