I am aware that I need to give them the LJ but should they have the daily diary too. Would like to keep it for my Ofsted insp as it shows good working relationship with parent. Or will Ofsted only want to see current childrens diaries etc Thanks

My understanding is that OFStED are only interested in current mindee's :)

I always give the daily diary as parents like to keep this as well, it gives a more in depth record of the childs day

Ofsted are not interested in anything about a child who is not there when they visit. So I don't keep anything after a child leaves. Obviously contracts etc are kept but no learning journeys daily diaries etc.

Do you all do daily diaries for all your mindees or just up to a certain age?

I'm planning to do diaries right through, but they may become less detailed as the children grow up!
