a new minder has just become registered this week (monday) in my street she came asked me how to get some children, i took her number phoned around a few other minders by friday we had her full. She came round last night we a big bouquet of flowers for me she is so happy it was lovely
got a lovely feeling about myself today it costs nothing to help others :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

That's lovely. I have a group of cm friends and we always recommend each other if we get a phone call that we can't manage. There are however a couple of cms who do think of us as competition and even told off one of my friends for daring to increase her own prices. :eek:

thankyou everyone when i started a couple of minders were nasty to me a mum and 2 daughters were minding they didnt like it well im still minding after 10yrs they had to pack up got no mindees, there are plenty of mindees in our town for everyone
so after my bad expierence i will go out of my way to help others:)

The cheek! I think what goes around comes around. Yes we are in competition with each other but we also need each other too. When I was worried a couple of weeks ago I got lots of support from lots of cm's I know and now that I have filled my spaces I have passed numbers to them.

We have a split in our area we have two outgoing friendly cm and the rest that stand there slagging off the world - which includes the co-ordinator for the area!! :rolleyes:

I'm getting all my help and support fom the outgoing friendly ones :clapping:

Im from chesterfield but my partner is from Doncaster he has lived there all his life and we reg go to doncaster 2-3 times a week with mindees too Im a very nice childminder (if i do say so myself lol)
If you need anythin just give me a shout more than happy to help xx

Yeah! i wish i had someone near me to help out like that!! i not long ago posted that im loosing the will to live!

are you a "support childminder"? if not you'd be great as one!!!!

I'm friends with 4 minders round here and we all pass on enquiries we cant do, that said there is one round here who just doesnt want to be friends:(
