set up costs and accounting year

Hello all

I am just setting up now and waiting for my pre-reg visit. I don't have any children lined up yet so think it's likely that I won't submit a tax return until for next financial year. My question is because all my set up costs will be in this financial year will I be able to include them? Things like courses, registration fees, equipment etc?

You can include them when your first minded starts - or you take a deposit. You don't need to have insurance in place until your first mindee starts either so make sure you don't pay for this before you have to!
