Toilet problems

Hi all

Weren't sure which section to put this under. I mind a pre school child after school and in the holidays. 4 1/2 years old and constantly having toilet accidents wet and dirty. They also just told me still wearing nappies at bed time!! Not sure how to help and how to bring it up with the parents. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Its not unusual for children to wear night time nappies at age 4. However most are clean and dry during the day. What do the parents say? Have they asked health visitor or doctor about it. Is he the same at home? Nursery?

I've not spoke to the parents about it yet but yes she is the same at nursery as often pick her up and the dirty clothes are attached to her bag almost every day.

I would suggest parents take advice from their Health Visitor.
