Parent pays me over year instead of weekly!

Hi yet another thread! lol

My parent pays me over the year instead of weekly so for example her fees are £80 a week but she pays me £150.00 to cover the holidays so that she doesn't have to find the extra when the holidays come round.

Am I surposed to be filling in my accounts with the proper amount or the amount she is giving me?

This account business is really doing my head in! ;-)

You record what monies they are giving to you & when they give it.

personally i would just fill in exactly what she pays you, it will all even itself out over a year anyway.

this is what i do, i have stated on my contract that this amount is averaged out to include school hols and school training days.
I then put into accounts book exactly how much i recieve each week and parents sign.
I like it this way as i have same amount each week and know where i am
