ok so the house is clean. the toys are out and i'm waiting for my potential mindee to turn up for a taster session at 4pm. i'm planning to ask her to pay my min days fee even though she only wants 4 hours! i must stay firm!! also i need to persuade her to have a friday afternoon (she wants the time for studying) as that would still allow me to spend quality time with my 6 month old at toddler group!! ultimately though i need her to sign up!! fingers crossed!!

ok update!! she came and i explained about min. hours charge - she seemed ok and went on to ask whether i would do the occasional evening - i said yes and she seemed happy! child was asleep so she was unsure as to what to do but in the end she decided to leave him with me and come back in 45 mins. He woke up after about 15 mins and cried a little but seemed comforted by a cuddle. then he was just starting to get off my lap and play with my d when mum arrived back! seemed to go well. mum was happy and confessed that she has a real problem leaving him and hasn't EVER left him (he's 16 months!!) no wonder she was acting a little vague and strange she was just really worried about him!
she ASKED if she could have a friday afternoon which is perfect for me!!
then she said she'd like to come bavk next week and leave him for a complete hour!!
if she's arranged that she must be fairly happy about the min. charge as otherwise she could have just said she'd get back to me and then not!?
this could work out perfectly hooray!!
she is a little vague though but i feel i can be firm with her regarding paying in advance etc and tbh i think she could do with the support as she said her partner and her have not been out alone since they had child as they have no family or friends nearby! i felt really sorry for her!!
