Rising 5 might be a silly question so sorry in advance.

I know about rising 5, so when they go to school they are no longer in your early years section, but what happens when it's school holidays? Are then still counted as an over 5 or do they come back into your early years?

No they stay as 'over 5s' for ratio purposes.
