Business Name

Hi, I am due to start the pre-reg course in March and I have been trying to think of a name for my child minding business, it would be great if i could use my surname somewhere but its not the easiest of surnames to include, especially when your not very creative. My surname is Amidu, any ideas please ? :)

I think that your surname not being one of the common ones helps your business to stand out. I wouldn't see it as a drawback. I think I would use it. Hth

I think the opposite , because its unusual might be hard to remember

i don't have a business name, i just use my own name.

the children all say 'its a loocyloo day' or ' i'm going to loocyloo's house '

easier for me & parents!

I didn't have a clue what to call my business but I thought about what my grand babies call me (not hubby tho as I wouldn't get any business lol!). One of my daughter's lives away and when my grandson comes to stay he calls me 'Nanny Norfolk' so there it was my business name! Hope this gives you an idea. Good luck x
