hi,

I have found myself in a bit of a conundrum in regards to printing contracts etc and costs associated. I have a printer in the house but found that buying a new printer is cheaper than buying replacement cartridges  ...(but still expensive enough):(
do you all print your own docs (how) or do you get it done somewhere?

I bought a new printer only after I'd researched the cost of getting cartridges.

I found cheap cartridges on Ebay - they are copies not the real ones, but only £2 each and they work fine.

Hope this helps :D

I print all my own documents and put the cost of ink and paper through my accounts. I can't see any other way around it that's cheaper.

Have done for years and years. They're fast and reliable.

Thanks for the link. I have 3 printers to buy for. My work one, the general one and Sam's for Uni. I need to stock up on hers for when she goes back in September.

That sounds like mine. I have now found a shop near us that will refill the empty HP cartridges so it works out much cheaper. I also use a different printer that prints really economically in B & W. I am printing things constantly so couldn't do without my printer
