Went into town today and printed 100 copies of my leaflets,50 went through letter boxes and the other 50 im going to hand out to people-didnt find the courage to do it today-im not the sort to wonder up to people and give them a leaflet,im working on it tho.
I went to a printers shop to see how much they would charge for putting my details on back of tshirt, was only £6 so put my order in for 1 a black tshirt with fluescent pink writing!!!!
hopefully wont be waiting long now people!!!!

I'll be doing the same next week!

Thats a great price for your Tshirt though, my local place was £12 - or does yours need you to supply own shirt?

Well done on being so pro-active.:clapping:

I am going to be doing that really soon. There is yet another planning permission for yet another nursery in my area so I am going to get in there first and get some flyers out to the big places up in that area.

I am getting some of Brillminders bags - today would have been ideal as we were at sports day - loads of parents and I am getting a t-shirt printed up, might even do one for James as he will have no choice and won't mind about wearing it!!

I've advertised in two chippies one I paid £20.00 for, its an electronic advertisment and got 1 enquiry but parents took the child elsewhere. The other was free and not heard a thing. Got 2 from putting cards in doors - the rest were through the CIS. Had other enquiries and interviews through friends but nothing came of them. Also had friends children - not the best idea especially when starting out and still a bit green around the gills and not hard - freinds can take terrible advantage of you. - All the best and well done on your purge. I bet you'll get lots of enquiries soon - I did around this time last year. Its amazing how many people go back to work at the end of the summer - not just teachers - people think its nice to spend the summer with their children before going back to work - so its around now that they start thinking about finding childcare.

Hi

I have t-shirts too! I bought mine off www.polo-shirts.co.uk, I got 11 t-shirts for £22.00. I have some for me and then got different sizes for the children, I put them on them when we go on day trips out, it's a way of advertising but also a way of keeping them safe. Mine are green with yellow writing, stand out really well and I have had lots of people comment on them and also a couple of people take my number and I've only had them 2 weeks.

I went to Paperclip in Exmouth and got them printed, £2.50 a t-shirt, just go in there and tell them you know Sam. They will do you the same deal.

Hope this helps

Sam's Super Stars on the front and on the back my mobile number with registered childminder underneath. I think if you want a logo it will be more, so I didn't put my logo on.

Really stands out the bright colours.

It was nice to meet you, everyone is really friendly i have found to. I came down here to Exmouth only knowing 1 family and now I have met lots of friends through childminding.
