Hello,

I hope anyone of you wonderful people can help me out.
A recent request of a potential new parent was if I accept childcare voucher from their employer. They would happily sign up with me for their 2 kids but only if I accept the vouchers.
As I haven't come across before I need to know:
How does it work? What are the requirements if any?
Many thanks in advance.

You register with the voucher company. That allows them to send you the money. Its a very easy system and saves the parents tax n ni. Im now registered with about 4 different voucher companies and as long as the parents do their part there are no issues.

Yes it's all very easy. You sign up with the relevant voucher company and then you get paid directly into your bank. All my parents pay some of their invoice by vouchers. The only thing you need to be aware of is that once the parent authorises the payment their end it takes 3 working days for the money to show in your bank account.
I think most childminders accept payment by the vouchers
