I have just finished reading NCMA Who Minds who state that the CRB and Independant Safeguarding Authoirty have merged to form the Disclosure and Barring Service to be know as DBS as of 1st December 2012.

It looks just like a crb though, my son had is in January from work

I am not changing my policies again - I did them in time for start of new EYFS - not my fault Ofsted didn't meet their own deadline! I just e-mailed parents telling them the wording had changed and put a note in front of my own folder with copies in.
schools still have CRB forms though, they keep asking but told to continue with old forms...
