IS BROADBAND AN ALLOWABLE EXPENSE?

Hi all,

I have seen a thread on here from a while ago and a lady asking how she claims her broadband on her accounts.

My broadband is more or less 100% work usage..with the exception of my daughter using it for disney.com every now and then.. :)

Are you able to claim broadband as an expense on accounts and if so.... is it at a reduced amount or full monthly cost?

any ideas let me know :)

I claim for it. But i dont know what percent as my accountant sorts this out. Its the same as my pension i put the full amount down and he takes the percentage of it we are allowed.:)

I don't know either, but it would be good to find out as I use it constantly, although my family also use it all the time, but it could be split - anything is better than nothing. I might start adding it anyway.

You can put whatever you can justify to the tax man!

If you use it entirely for business purposes then put 100% - the forum counts as "research" of course :D :thumbsup:
