Hi - looking for some advise on employing an Assistant. How much do you pay them and how does it affect your ratios?
What are the advantages?

Advantages can be huge - someone to share ideas and workload with, someone to take over when you're not feeling 100%, someone to play with one set of children so you can focus on others...
Pitfalls include fallings out, someone not doing their share, extra paperwork and training, sharing your income...
