Hi everyone I looking at becoming a childminder but im bit worried that ofsted with refuse me because of the size of my house. Does anybody know anyone who this has happened to. My house isnt small but only got a living room and kitchen downstairs which both are quite big. Huge back garden. Hallway and downstairs toilet. Then 4 double rooms upstairs which one of them has been turned into the family bathroom

Hi the requirements are as follows:

• Children under two years: 3.5 m2 per child.
• Two year olds: 2.5 m2 per child.
• Children aged three to five years: 2.3 m2 per child.

If you say your living room is quite big then you should be ok.
