I have 2 little table & chair sets which the children are outgrowing. They're fine for the 1 & 2 year olds, but a bit small for the others.

I'm looking for a table & chair set that's suitable from age 3 upwards.

Wooden, not plastic.

Any recommendations?

i have a set from ikea and my 7 year old still fits round it BU that is the plastic set. maybe ikea do wooden ones too? otherwise maybe something like playschools use like from tts? cant think where else??

I have a lovely set of Sven wooden table and chairs (3 chairs 1 stool) ideal for older ones too, I have a 31/2 yr old that looks comfortable
on them and also a 6 yr old sits nicely on them too. Had them off ebay a bargain of £30 quite expensive otherwise.

I also use the ikea mammut ones, I love the colours. I also have some that I use outside they are just the right height for our activities, ages two to seven use them with no problems.

Looks like a trip to Ikea is needed then - DH will be pleased :p

Failing that, I do like the look of the Svan sets :)

Totally agree a trip to ikea is always needed.Why do men not like ikea I love it.

Im off to Ikea in feb and cant wait! I love it, hubby hates the place! :clapping::clapping:

I currently have the ikea wooden table with 2 chairs which was a bargain at £17 and 7yr old still sits at it but Im buying the Mamut set because I want a round table and need four chairs now. Plus the colours are fab x
