Hi everyone was just wondering if anyone could help me. I want to become a childminder and booked on to the childminding briefing course in march and iv looked at the cypop5 childcare. After I had done this course would ibe able to start childminding or is there any other courses I have to do first. I would be greatful for any help or advice thank you:panic:

You also need to complete your peadiatric first aid course and a safeguarding course (they will give you details for safeguarding at briefing) other courses are up to you but I did and food safety and a fire safety course also.

You will have to have your first aid before you start. You have to do a safeguarding course too but not sure if you would have to do this before starting. Your childminding briefing should cover all this and tell you where the courses are :thumbsup:
