Hi all,

I bought a portable hard drive back in November to store all my CM paperwork etc so that it wasn't overloading my laptop (as its quite full already!)- can I/ am I allowed to put that in my expenses when it comes to this years (12-13) tax returns?

Also, I'm sure I've seen on here somewhere before, quite a good list of everything we're allowed to put down in expenses - am I dreaming this or is it still around here somewhere?? I'm using the forum app so it may just be that I can't see it unless I go on the full site?

If it is solely for childminding use then it is an allowable expense. You could put it down as a capitol expense if it was expensive. If you use it for your own needs too then you can only claim a percentage.
