I'm wanting / needing to do some training courses over the next few months.
Thing is all the courses I can attend are on days that I work.

I would need to take the day off losing my income for 4 mindees.(£45) On top of that I have the course fees ( £30)

I know I can claim the course fees as expenses but is there anything I can do about the lost income?
I would not be doing the course if i was not CM. Can it go down as some sort of expense?

When on courses I record in my account book minimum wage for the time I'm on the course. It's all part of the job, I wouldn't be there if I wasn't a CM, so it's all expenses. Unlucky it's a day time course though - I can only ever do evening or weekends as most of my parents have no back-up if I'm on a course.

No I'm afraid not.

No it's not, only money you spend can be expenses (plus any allowances specifically allowed by law or concession such as the 10% wear and tear allowance).
