I was reading up on weaning and came across the concept of baby led weaning. does anyone have any experience with it?
blw means baby is started on finger-foods at 6 months, skipping pureed foods...
I am not sure what to think about it..

Messy and ... oh I don't know but I quite like to be in some control of what babies eat when they first start weaning.

If they are eating finger foods etc, and throwing great chunks on the floor, methinks they will be hungry after meals...

This is an interesting website -

BLW is fab :D no fussy eaters later on :clapping:  messy yes sometimes but babies get their nutrtion from milk still at that age and food is only for getting them used to tastes textures and chewing ( development for speech etc)

I'll be doing it with #3 too :)
