What qualifications do i need gain? i have l3 nvq in childrens care learning and development and foundation degree in teaching and learning. I have done food hygiene with merit (prob out of date now) and same with paediatric first aid. Also is there a check list of things i need i.e. stair gates, plug covers... Thank you xx

You will need to attend an introduction to childminding course - it is a statutory requirement of the framework we work within in England - the EYFS.
You should contact your local authority who will be able to give you more information about availability of courses. You cannot register with ofsted until you have done the course plus first aid plus CRB and medical checks ... and everything else first.
