Hi there

What needs to be included in childrens assessments do you just cover the prime areas in the under 3's and how much do you need to be writing i dont want to sit a do loads of work if its not needed???

It's hard to say how much to write because we all do it differently.

The most important think is that you involve parents - and child depending on age - in deciding what the child can do when they first start with you.

For little ones focus on the prime areas with mention of the specific and a nod towards the characteristics.
