I have one mum (single parent) who unfortunatly has to work christmas eve so i'm having her 3 year old. He is very easy to look after when he is on his own so dont think its gonna be too bad. Fingers crossed

I've got 1 babytoday who is currently having a snooze LO whilst my two watch Santa Clause after a busy morning at the play centre which was blissfully quiet. She's only here until 4pm & my DC love having her here so a very easy day & really glad I didn't use a day's leave as I had originally intended. Happy Christmas everyone.

I started off with two school aged and a little one at 7.30, we went to soft play this morning, it was fab a real party atmosphere, w head a lovely morning, we came home for lunch and soon after the school aged sister were collected.

I have one 3 year old from 9am-7pm, we also went to soft play this morning and I had to pay £5 for her to get in. It killed a couple hours though. She will play with my 2 kids so not too bad.

tI don't work on christmas eve - a couple of christmases have been spoilt by me and then my children catching a bug -not working keeps some of the germs away! Also I have more family time so less stress. I don't start work again until the 2nd - most years so few parents needed me in that week, or they have said they do and then cancel, so I just take the whole week off, makes for a lovely family time, my girls really appreciate having our home as a home and not my workplace. The toys are all hidden with a big thick tinsel curtain.

I took today off as I wanted a bit of a break and ive only taken 3 days off all year. I would have only had a 2 yr old and 5yr old though. I'm not working until Friday but I don't think I have any kids coming in, maybe just a 2 yr old. They're all busy with their families!

I'm working NYE but mum's just texted to tell me she's swopped for the earlier shift so 8-4 instead of 10-6 and best of all doesn't need me on 3rd or 4th (but still being paid) so I've got a whole week off after NYE !!
