Do any of you have in your illness policy words to the effect of :-
If any member of of the minded child's household contract the norovirus (winter vomiting bug) I would ask that the child is kept away from the childminding setting. The virus is highly contagious and is spread very easily to others. If any member of my family contracts the virus then the setting will be closed until the virus has run its course.
Can I do that? Can I say that a child cannot come if a member of their household has the virus. The last thing I want is for any of my little ones, their families or indeed my family to be ill over Christmas.
