Ratios and space

Hello, I'm so confused so hope you can help, I have had an enquiry of a bro and sis 3 yrs and little girl 7 months, I currently have my son and another little boy both 2.

I have an assistant as would really like the extra pair of hands more then anything but she also has a 2 year old.

I have done risk assessments and had children for a visit and it works fine but how do I work out how much space I have and how many children I can have.

Hi, check out the statutory frame work page 24, point 3.56 -3.59 it states that you need:-

3.5sq metres per child for under 2's
2.5sq metres per child for 2yr olds
2.3sq metres per child for 3-5 yr olds

It must be the useable area of rooms ie lounge, playroom hope this helps:thumbsup:
