I'm looking at another house. Problem is that it willl be very expensive to put fencing up due to strange lay out of garden. There is fencing so children cant get out but there is low wall at end of lawn that could be a danger.

so basically i am asking, would it be ok if children only went outside if i was out with them? I wouldnt be happy leaving them even for a minute.

Does anyone else have same problem?

you have to prove how you would keep the children safe in all eventualities - if one fell and you had to dash inside with them... if a parent arrived unexpectedly at the door... if you needed to change a baby... if you turned to help a child with one thing and another was making a dash for freedom etc.

You really cannot say 'I will always be outside' because life doesn't work like that.

Could you fence off a safe section rather than the whole thing? :D

Have 3 men looking at ways of fencing off garden, so will see what sort of prices they come up with. Sadly due to layout it would be impossible to fence off 'safe section', unless it was a sort of giant play pen lol.

Ah well if it is too expensive i will just have to look else where
