Hi,

I am looking for cheap mattress type things that are easy to store but safe for children to sleep on.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks

I've been wondering this too, in a nursery I used to work at they had proper nap mats but I can only find them in bulk packs!

How about those ready beds that you pump up?

I also worked in a nursery where the children slept on fold up mats but they didn't feel that comfortable to me - mind you the children did sleep so I guess they weren't that bad?!

These were the ones used in my nursery... http://www.zazdas.com/department/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcountry=218&idproduct=3218905&idcategory=0 Seem to be sold singularly here.

You can buy self inflating mats for camping, wonder if those would be ok.

Try the whole kaboodle

they retail for £19.95

I've got one, soon to be two and they fold up so don't take up very much space as well as taking a cot bed size fitted sheet.

i needed an extra ( waterproof  ) sleep mat recently ... i got the value one from argos! my cot sheets fit it and i put a fleece blanket over the top. its not very thick or long, but good enough!
