I understand we need to keep all paperwork in fire proof box/container

What sort of containers do people use and where are they sold?

I suppose the best place of all would be a web based storage facility, so no matter what happened at home you can access files from any pc/laptop/email x

I think there is a point where they will combust as no matter how fireproof the box the heat build up inside will cause the paper inside to catch on fire x

I don't keep mine in a fireproof box, nor have I heard of any childminders doing this in my area.

There has to be some sort of common sense approach to things; it would not be practical to store all of your records for 21 years in fireproof boxes. Firstly, the cost would be ENORMOUS as they cost loads!

No I have never heard the need to be honest. All my past records go in a box in the loft and if it all goes up so be it. To be honest if that happened there would be a lot else I would be more concerned about than cm records!!!
