Can somebody please confirm that a Nursery staff member cannot go around breaking confidentiality about who they have in their premises?
I know your are supposed to liaise with professionals but only when consent is given? Consent was most definitely not given by the parent! The parent even became annoyed and threatend us with 4 weeks notice on the spot when she was informed????
We did not know anything about this and we do not know the staff member, she must have been told or shown who my DW is to do what she did!
My DW is feeling rather annoyed at the moment about this!
We are very confused as to why this is going on?
EDIT: Please don't be confused, we did not break confidentiality! it was the nursery staff member who did this!
EDIT2: Sorry I didnt say why, basically the staff member approached my DW in a school playground and openly boasted that the child in my DW's care will now be going to her nursery from now on. This has never ever happend before!
