How about making pasta with the kids, making lots of different colours?

Raviloli (sp?) is great to make and you can put anything in the stuffing really

Sausage casserole....its so easy, you can add carrots, onion, pepper, mushrooms etc. Serve with mash or pasta. My lot love it. Cheap too.;)
