Would this have been allowed under the old system for continuity of care? Have told parent no but did wonder. Ages would be 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 6. The extra is a 6 aswell - mums shifts have changed. So frustrating as the 3 and 5 go as soon as we get back from school run and the 6 is 2 hours!

Desperate need for after school care in our area which is good for minders at least!

I don't think we can go over 6 under any circumstances, then or now but it might be worth calling Ofsted just to check

No, it wouldn't have been allowed. The maximum limit was 6 under 8's. I asked and was told it could never happen .

Understand your frustration though !

Probably a sanity saver tbh! Mum was fine with it, just a shame as she'll need new care and child settled really well here and because of her coming her friend came too - so you can see the knock on. Ah well, tis business :)
