I have seen a few nurseries advertising the 15 hours for 2 year olds as well as 3 and 4 year olds, how are they able to do this and is it something we can do too?
Also how do you go about getting the 15 houre funding?
Thanks for your help

Contact your lea, every area has different Crimea, some offer it with childminders and some don't.

They offer it to CMs in my area but you have to be 'Good' or 'Outstanding' and it ONLY covers special groups.
Children with special needs
Ethnic Minorities
Travellers and Gypsies
Young parents
Families in Crisis

I don't understand why it has to be so 'picky' but then these groups need more help. It also depends on how desperate for work you are I suppose.

Yes in my area it only applies to certain children but what I would say it is at a higher rate that the 3 year old funding but you will probably have to work harder for it!!!
