Waiting for Certificate?

Hello, I finally have my pre-reg visit next week and the lady told me on the phone that I have to be ready to start minding the very next day. I always thought you had to wait for the certificate to come through after the visit but is this no longer the case?

You are both right.

The inspector will want to see everything ready and in place, so that theoretically you are ready to work immediately. However, you will still need to wait for your certificate before you can officially start minding.
