Would like your thoughts on how to cover this water table during the evening as it is taking me ages to wash down ever morning.
I am also wondering if anyone has used their water table for 'rice' play. ive been reading a blog about how her lo loves buiry their hands in the rice and my lo loves sand, so was hoping this may be an alternative to messy sand play.

Are you handy with a sewing machine at all? I would make a cover with waterproof tarp fabric and sew in elastic fixings behind each leg to keep it.in place. Should.be very easy to.do.as.it's.a simple.shape, especially if the sticky up bit.on top comes off. Fabric is cheap too, I recovered the roof on the treehouse bit of our swingset for a fiver and you'd need less fabric.

If not, maybe adapt a patio table.cover, although this might.not fit well enough to be a solution.

Thanks for your ideas the tower does come off easily. Will measure a bike cover.
We put rice in it today (photos on my Facebook page) and everyone liked playing with it. Sometimes I just need to try these things.

i would buy a tarpaline (sp) fiver from b &q.

i did the rice thing in summer and omg its still everywhere, it was crushed underfoot and walked all over and it was so hard to sweep up once crushed.

im sticking to water from now on lol.
