When doing an attendance register, as well as logging times children arrive and leave (drop off and collection) Do you also log when you drop them off and collect them from playschool/school/nursery etc?

Yes I always do, have evth signed every week or 2 weeks by parent. Better have them written down if ever we need them in case of a problem. I would say better annoyed a bit doing so and safe, than sorry.

I use a A4 diary with days column going down the page, I seperate into 3, before school, all day, and after school, I then book them in and out in the appropriate section so if Mrs O should drop in she can see who should be here at that time.

yes, definitely, as if there was an incident you could prove if they were with you or not. Of course playgroup/nursery should have their records too but you never know:rolleyes:
