where to put policies

There was a thread some time ago that gave suggestions as to what sections to put our policies in, can't find it now so can some one give me some advice please?

I have a parent information folder and I put my polices in that. Mine are put together in an 8 page policy document with a list of the 13 Policies on the first page.

Thank you both, I did find it after all, but then I thought are we still using the Every Child Matters format for things, e.g. Healthy, Keeping Safe etc.?
