I have registered again - didn't plant them this year :o 2 were rotten on arrival and didn't get round to ringing them for replacements. Then the weather was awful too. Must do better next year :)

Not seen this before. We already do potato pots, never mind preparing my allotment for next year's crop, but I'm always up for a freebie and the resource materials could be useful.

But it looks like a schools scheme. How does it work for childminders?

It works fine for childminders, I registered this year, planted the potatoes late  but had quite a good crop (1.9Kg) I didn't bother to pull them up when they tell you for entering the competition, I just let them grow until the plants withered and then got the potatoes out - ate some already, where really nice!

Just registered again. Thanks Angel. It will be our 4th year. Not as successful this year because of the rain but we have had some small new pots.

Thanks, have registered. I think I'll do them in bags rather than the ground - we did some in the ground last year and they were decimated by slugs, and this year the ones I missed have grown and I have to keep pulling them out of what is now my herb bed.

Ahh, just noticed that the kits come with some bags... awesome!
