FINALLY

Hi, havnt been on the forum for ages had to take a little part-time job on the evenings to help get us buy as i still had't had any look getting started, i have finished that job now as it was only temp, but luckily enough i had a teacher come and see me a couple off weeks ago looking for someone to have her dd in september fulltime (term time) 8 -4oclock, buy then her dd will be 6mths she rang me last week to say she wanted me to mind her dd :jump for joy: couldn't believe it :D any way she is coming tomorrow aft to sign contracts :clapping: a little nervous though cause i have never filled one out before and it is the ncma ones they look really daughnting :panic:. When she starts paying it will be with vouchers which apparently go straight into my bank account has any one come across these??? Can i also ask if anyone charges for petrol ?? because get this i have had another enquiry for a little girl for mornings and i would have to take her to nursery which is only 2 miles away but i am unsure weather to charge with it only being a short distance..
Oh im so xcited about the baby starting can't wait :excited: luv chelle. XX

That is great news Chelle - congratulations!

I've never charged for petrol - just put it through my books as a business expense at 40p a mile.

Vouchers are ok - much easier than banking cheques etc - you might find they come in late sometimes, but they are usually fine.

Good luck with it all - sounds like you are going to be busy! :D

Thats great. Dont panic about the contracts. They look scary but when you go through they are pretty much self explanatory and remember the notes on the back. I fill all my details in and what ever else I know, for example giving 4 weeks notice at the back etc so theres less to worry about and parents fill their bit in and sign and you get to have cuddles with baby whilst they look through.

Iv never had the vouchers but they sound good.

Oh and the petrol bit. Funny you should ask because i was wondering that to esp with the petrol prices atm. I would probably charge the full hour for example if they are dropped off at 1.30 I would charge till 2 if that makes sence
